I just had a microdiscetomy performed by Dr. Park.

Came in crouching and in tremendous pain. Left walking upright and no pain.

He is fantastic!!! I got my life back. I can't say enough good things. Is there 6 stars I could put down!

Jennifer, who schedules appointments is top notch. On top of everything.

I was recommended to Dr. Park by a friend who was a patient of his. To be honest I am skeptical of back Dr.s as I have had a couple bad experiences in my past.

I have a previous disk herniation in my lower back that I recently re-injured. I called the office front desk and was warmly greeted by a very helpful staff who made my appointment and took care of any insurance paperwork.

My first impression when I walked into the office was clean, professional, and very welcoming. I didn't wait long and was taken in right on time to see the Dr. The nurse entered first who was great to work with and asked me some initial questions. The Dr. entered next and answered any questions I had with regard to his background and expertise and quickly made me feel confident in his experience.

After a full check of my back, he recommended I get an MRI to see the what the state of my previous herniation was....

After a review of the MRI, it was very apparent that I would have to take some sort of action to relieve the miserable pain and sciatica I was going through. Dr. Park reviewed my options including conservative options which made me feel happy that he was not quick to jump to an aggressive procedure. After doing my own research, coupled with the education Dr. Park provided, I felt that an epidural type injection in my spine was the course of action I wanted to take.

The day of the procedure... I was very nervous to say the least. Dr. Park, walked me through each step of the procedure prior to taking any action. There was zero element of surprise which calmed me down. The entire procedure took approximately 45mins, and was pretty much pain free. I walked in with my pain levels high, and left with a very good improvement.

It has been a couple weeks now, and the pain is 80% improved :) The Dr. has checked in on me, and continues to work with me to build my strength to help reduce the chance of me re-aggravating my injury.

I was having a lot of pain, numbness and had an mri . It showed that I had 2 degenerated disc in my back with stenosis also . If I could have taken a different route I may have but my condition was beyond that point . I did some research and Dr. Park had a very impressive resume and it looked like he was doing the latest methods of surgery . I talked to him and ask what would give me the best result. A laminectomy and spinal fusion was the recommendation . After our conversation I felt good and also confident in Dr. Park . We set it up and I had the surgery . I am very pleased with the operation and my feeling in my feet and legs are coming back and my spine has been stabilized so it shouldn't continue to get any worse . The staff was very friendly and compassionate. Considering where I was with my pain I have to say the experience was great .
